About the Park
Parc d’Olhain – A nature experience in the heart of northern France
The Parc départemental d’Olhain is a popular nature and leisure area in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region, about 15 kilometres south-west of Béthune. Nestled in the rolling hills of Artois, the 450-hectare park is a green oasis for those seeking relaxation, families, sports enthusiasts and nature lovers.
Extensive meadows, ancient forests and small watercourses characterise the landscape. The gently rolling topography offers impressive views of the region in many places. The park is also home to a diverse flora and fauna and is ideal for nature observation.
The Parc d'Olhain is particularly well known for its extensive range of leisure activities. Visitors can enjoy a climbing forest, a mini golf course, disc golf, playgrounds, archery and, as a special attraction, the 350-metre-long Alpine Coaster from the manufacturer Wiegand. Thrill-seekers can also try their hand at the action-packed Tyrolienne (zip line).
