Palavas-les-Flots (F) - Luna Park

Luna Park in Palavas-les-Flots is a lively summer funfair on the French Mediterranean coast that has been delighting locals and holidaymakers alike since 1969. The fair opens its gates every year from mid-June to the end of August in the evenings, transforming the area into a dazzling festival venue. Some time ago, the park moved to a new, modernised site on the Allée des Loisirs, which offers visitors wider walkways, up-to-date facilities and convenient parking.

The atmosphere really comes to life after sunset, when countless colourful lights shine, music echoes across the square and the scent of typical fairground treats such as candyfloss, churros and freshly baked crêpes fills the air. Thanks to its proximity to the water, the taller attractions offer impressive views of the sea and the surrounding lagoons.

The park caters to all age groups and offers a varied mix of entertainment. For thrill-seekers, there are spectacular upside-down rides, giant swings, high-speed rollercoasters and centrifuges that spin passengers through the air. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace will find classic family carousels, ghost trains, bumper cars and numerous games of skill, such as the traditional duck fishing and shooting galleries. Entry to the site itself is free, as the rides and stalls are operated individually by the fairground operators and charged per ride.
