Description
Les Ours'hauts is the new interactive family attraction at Fraispertuis City. The 11-meter-tall free-fall tower, manufactured by Zierer, enhances the wooded area and offers the perfect blend of thrills and fun. The attraction’s name is a humorous French pun combining the words for “bears” and “jumping up,” which perfectly captures the ride’s motion. Unlike classic, large free-fall towers, this ride features an elastic, bouncing up-and-down motion. These vertical jumps create a child-friendly sensation of airtime in the stomach. What makes the ride special is its interactivity: During the ride, passengers can actively rotate the gondola—which seats ten people—360 degrees around its own axis. This allows riders to choose their own line of sight and enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the park. The tower’s design was developed in collaboration with Universal Rocks and is integrated into the new firefighting and forestry-themed area. It stands on the former site of the Joly Jumper horse riding arena and is directly surrounded by the tracks of the Fireline Redwood roller coaster. With its combination of gentle drops, self-rotation, and the dense forest backdrop, the ride offers a dynamic experience. The tower opened on June 20, 2026, just in time for the summer season, and is considered one of the highlights for families during the park’s anniversary year.
