This custom-built “Family Boomerang” roller coaster takes you on a thrilling adventure centered on the brave elite firefighting teams of North America’s redwood forests. As soon as you enter the densely themed area, you’ll sense the atmosphere crafted with meticulous attention to detail, but the real thrill awaits on the ride: At the start of the ride, you’ll be pulled backward up an imposing 22.5-meter-high tower. Once you’re released, there’s no turning back. The train races through the station in a free forward drop at nearly 60 km/h and shoots onto the approximately 208-meter-long, winding track. You’ll whiz past massive rock formations at close range and plunge into an underground tunnel before the tracks come to an abrupt end on the opposite slope. Here, the roller coaster’s heart literally skips a beat: The train stops briefly high in the air and then completes the entire thrilling route—with all its changes in direction—once more in reverse. Thanks to the innovative, smooth rail system from manufacturer Vekoma, this ride is absolutely jerk-free despite its high dynamics.
