Aquarium d'Amnéville

The Aquarium d'Amnéville has been located in the French town of Amnéville in the Département Moselle (Grand Est region), about 15 km south of Thionville and about 20 km north of Metz, since 1989. Located in the immediate vicinity of the Zoo d'Amnéville, you will find more than 70 aquariums, which hold between 200 and 210,000 litres, and more than 3,000 sea creatures from over 300 species. You can admire seahorses and clownfish, but also piranhas, pipefish, pipefish, sea needles, corals, stonefish and even nurse sharks. The various themed areas are very educational and interestingly designed, giving you a lot of knowledge about these sea creatures. Outside, you will also find a barefoot, listening, smelling and touching trail, as well as a children's playground.
