Tykkimäki

Tykkimäki Amusement Park is one of Finland's most popular family parks, offering a diverse range of leisure and entertainment experiences for visitors of all ages. Located in Kuopio, in the heart of a picturesque setting on the shores of Lake Kallavesi, the park combines classic amusement park attractions with modern rides and child-friendly play areas.

Tykkimäki is particularly family-oriented: children of all ages will find age-appropriate attractions here, while teenagers and adults can experience exciting roller coasters, carousels and thrill rides. Highlights include the Kamikaze, an impressive roller coaster with exciting curves and loops, and the Boomerang, which takes visitors forwards and backwards through the track. For younger children, there are specially designed carousels, mini roller coasters and themed areas where they can play safely and experience their first rides.

The park also offers water attractions, interactive play areas, a Ferris wheel with panoramic views and numerous dining options to suit every taste. Tykkimäki attaches great importance to a family-friendly atmosphere and a relaxed stay, so that parents can enjoy the surroundings while their children play and explore the attractions.

In addition to the rides, visitors to the park will find regular events, shows and seasonal activities to keep them entertained. With spacious green areas, shaded rest areas and easily accessible service facilities, Tykkimäki is a place where families can spend unforgettable hours together.

The park is easily accessible by car or public transport and offers ample parking. Tykkimäki is typically open from May to September, with most attractions and events available during the summer months. Admission is family-friendly, and visitors can choose between day tickets, season passes or combination tickets.
