Tropiclandia

The Finnish city of Vaasa, with a population of 70,000, is located on the Gulf of Bothnia. The Tropiclandia water park is located on the island of Vaskiluoto, right next to a local spa hotel. In the immediate vicinity of Tropiclandia was the now abandoned Wasalandia amusement park, which ceased operations in 2015 due to low visitor numbers. The water park consists of an indoor and an outdoor section. While the indoor spa area is open all year round, the outdoor area with numerous slides is open to visitors in the summer months. This makes it a worthwhile destination for the whole family.
