About the Park
Since summer 2025, the popular holiday resort of Ruka has been home to a real novelty: the Ruka Coaster, Finland's first Alpine Coaster! The ride was built by renowned German manufacturer Wiegand, which is known worldwide for its high-quality Alpine Coasters.
Like a roller coaster through the fells, you'll race down into the valley at speeds of up to 40 km/h – or enjoy a more leisurely ride, as you can set your own speed thanks to individual brake levers.
The entrance is located at the valley station next to the Piste Rental. From there, the lift system takes you comfortably close to the summit. Then it's off on a 767-metre-long descent back down to the valley. Each sled has room for two adults with separate safety belts. Children aged 3 and above can ride accompanied by an adult.
