About the Park
In the heart of the Ruhr area you can go on a "world tour in one day". In this zoo, which is especially designed close to nature, you can experience the worlds of Alaska, Africa and Asia with more than 900 animals in over 100 species on more than 30 hectares. Thanks to the successful landscape architecture, the boundaries between humans and animals are almost invisible. There is variety for the little ones with several playgrounds and for the whole family with the boat tour "African Queen" and the motion simulator "Alaska Ice Adventure".
