About the Park
The Berlin Zoological Garden is Germany’s oldest zoo. Spanning 33 hectares, it is home to over 20,000 animals representing approximately 1,115 species. Visitors can discover many exotic and endangered species there. There is also a large aquarium spanning three floors that is open to the public. In the petting zoo, visitors can get up close and personal with the animals.
