About the Park
1913 opened in Bremerhaven as a themed zoo, which specializes in Nordic and aquatic animal species, on less than 12,000 square meters, the zoo by the sea. It also counts as the smallest scientifically managed zoo in Europe. In addition to penguins, one can find octopuses, seals, polar bears and also sea lions in the park.
