Description
In the stone bath you will experience the forces of nature in a rustic atmosphere, as they prevailed on earth millions of years ago:
Primary rock, filled into a massive iron basket, is heated up to approx. 400 °C in a brick oven. When the temperature is reached, the iron basket swings over to a large copper kettle - filled with clear, cold water. Slowly, the hot granite rock sinks into the cold water, hissing and sometimes cracking. Steam clouds with a high concentration of minerals rise above the water and gradually enrich the entire room. Due to the repeated lifting and lowering process, humidity and the room temperature gently rise. Your body is slowly accustomed to the rising temperature and humidity, accompanied by targeted, gentle physical exertion. This mild overheating stimulus is reinforced by the heated benches made of solid stone on which you are seated.
