About the Park
The Pforzheim Wildlife Park has been located in Pforzheim in Baden-Württemberg, on the northern edge of the Black Forest, since 1968. Around 400 animals from around 70 species live on the 16.5 hectare site of the wildlife park. In addition to the axis deer, lynx, mader dog, Przewalski's horse, bison and dwarf goat, you will also find the domestic goose, night griffon, eagle owl, bitterling, rudd, mirror carp, fire salamander, tree frog and fire-bellied toad. Younger visitors to the Pforzheim Wildlife Park can also enjoy the forest climbing garden, playgrounds, children's farm and petting zoo. At weekends, the lynxes and otters are also fed at the park, where you can learn about the animals from their keepers. The Pforzheim Wildlife Park is open all year round and admission is free, but you have to pay a parking fee for vehicles.
