Wildpark-MV (Güstrow)

In the east of Güstrow, the district capital of Rostock County in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, you will find the Güstrow Wildlife Park, which was opened in 1959 in the former GDR as the Güstrow Wildlife Park, later as the Güstrow Nature and Environment Park, and has been open all year round as the Wildlife Park MV since 2015. On an area of 200 hectares, you will find a wide variety of animal species such as fallow and wild boar, fish, parakeets, owls, storks, wild cats, wolves, lynxes, brown bears and many more animals that you can observe in their enclosures. The various interactive exhibitions in the Wildpark-MV also offer you all kinds of knowledge about the different animal species. The Wildpark-MV is a great and eventful destination for all animal enthusiasts and those who want to become one. Dogs are allowed on a short leash, but require a day ticket.
