About the Park
The Knüll Wildlife Park, which opened in 1968, is located in Homberg in the Schwalm-Eder district of North Hesse. Around 400 animals from 45 species live on the 50-hectare site of the wildlife park. You can see deer, wild sheep, Rhön sheep, pygmy goats, eagle owls, barn owls, tawny owls and tawny owls, brown bears, European wolves, raccoons, badgers, lynxes, red foxes and wild horses. The Knüll Wildlife Park, which is operated by the Schwalm-Eder public utility company, is open all year round, allowing you to observe its inhabitants at any time of year. The Knüll Wildlife Park is around 32 kilometres from Bad Hersfeld, 38 kilometres from Bad Wildungen and around 48 kilometres from Kassel.
