About the Park
You can observe animals all year round at the Silz Wildlife and Hiking Park in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Südliche Weinstraße. On the approximately 100-hectare site of the Silz Wildlife and Hiking Park, you will find around 400 animals from fifteen European species such as mountain goats, fallow deer, ferrets, horses, mouflon, red deer, little owls, eagle owls, wild boar, bison and wolves. The petting zoo invites young and old animal lovers to linger. Children will also find various play equipment to play and run around on the playground. You can also quench your thirst and hunger at the kiosk and restaurant located at the entrance. You can reach the Silz Wildlife and Hiking Park from Bad Bergzabern after around ten kilometres and from Landau after around eighteen kilometres.
