About the Park
In the middle of the Lüneburg Heath, not far from the in Soltau, the Walsrode World Bird Park has been located on an area of 24 hectares since 1962. It is the largest bird park in the world and shows over 650 species. Due to its biodiversity, the World Bird Park is one of the most species-rich zoos in the world. Animals from all continents and climatic zones of the world are at home. Special focus is placed on the Kolibri house, the Toowoomba bird adventure world with free-flying loris or the Jungle Trail, where over 80 exotic animal species can be admired.
