About the Park
In the Bavarian town of Weiden in der Oberpfalz, about 100 km east of Nuremberg and 35 km west of the border with the Czech Republic, the five-day Weidener Volksfest always takes place in September. On the large fairground in Conrad-Röntgen-Straße you will find many attractions and a colourful mix of different rides for young and old, as well as a consumer fair with a large number of participants. On Monday, the last day of the Weiden Volksfest, there is traditionally the family day with discounted rides and, in addition, the closing fireworks from around 9:30 pm.
