Warburg - Oktoberwoche

Warburg is a large traditional folk festival that transforms the Hanseatic city of Warburg into a festival mile every year. The nine-day event is known for its successful mix of fairground, market and traditional folk festival elements.

Visitors to the fairground will find a wide range of rides, from fast-paced carousels to classic family attractions. A large marquee serves as the central meeting place for socialising, musical entertainment and a festive atmosphere. In addition to the fairground, there is an extensive market where traders offer a wide variety of goods. Oktoberwoche is also closely linked to agricultural traditions and includes a trade show and a traditional animal show. A large parade winds its way through the streets of the town, and the folk festival traditionally ends with a large fireworks display.

The festival is known for its hospitality, its varied programme and its combination of regional tradition and modern fairground fun.
