Wagenfeld - Großmarkt

The Wagenfeld Wholesale Market is a traditional folk festival that takes place every autumn. It is known for its successful mix of a large market and amusement park, an extensive trade show and a traditional festival tent.

The festivities are concentrated on the market square and in the main street of Wagenfeld. The Großmarkt is a central meeting place that attracts visitors from all over the region.

- Market and amusement park: The market offers a colourful variety of rides, game booths and lottery stands. There are attractions for all age groups, from modern, fast-paced carousels to classics for the whole family.

Trade show: An important part of the market is the large trade exhibition, where local and regional companies present their products and services.

Festival tent and party: In the large festival tent, a varied programme with live bands, DJs and party music ensures a lively atmosphere until late in the evening.

- Special highlight: Sunday is an important day for the festival. At 1 p.m., there is a traditional parade, followed by the official tapping of the keg in the festival tent at 2 p.m.
