About the Park
In 1933 the zoo, laid out on can 2ha, opened in the Ruhr area city of Bochum. You can find over 300 animal species here. In addition, in the Fossilium, a part of the museum, there is an exhibition on the fauna and flora of the Jurassic period, along with numerous exhibits.
