About the Park
Since 1993, the Mainfränkische Werkstätten has operated the Sommerhausen zoo on 14ha. This means that special people work here who would have had very few chances of getting a job on the primary job market. The zoo lives from the idea of inclusion. From the animal population you can see llamas, alpacas or giant donkeys. In addition to holiday programs, there is a lot of instructive information in the environmental station.
