Tierpark Nadermann

In Delbrück-Schöning in the district of Paderborn in North Rhine-Westphalia, 21 kilometres south-east of Gütersloh and also 21 kilometres north-west of Paderborn, you will find the privately run Nadermann Zoo, which opened in 1967. Today, you will find around 400 animals from 80 species on the eight-hectare site, which borders directly on the Rietberger Emsniederung nature reserve. In addition to alpacas, dromedaries, llamas, Bactrian camels and goats, Nadermann Animal Park also focuses on predators. You will find cheetahs, lions, leopards, jaguars and ocelots, among others. You can also marvel at the Javan monkeys, a type of macaque, in their spacious natural enclosure or various bird species in the aviaries. The Tierpark Express, a park railway, takes you through the reindeer enclosure on your tour and provides you with information and knowledge about the animals via loudspeakers. Nadermann Zoo also has a large play and leisure area for its guests. In addition to a variety of play equipment, slides and swings, there are also some smaller rides such as a Butterfly, a Luna or the Nautic Jet. As a visit to Tierpark Nadermann is sure to make you hungry, thirsty and hungry, the Café Manege offers a variety of food and drinks to choose from. Open seasonally from the middle/end of March until November, the wheelchair and pushchair-friendly Nadermann Zoo is a worthwhile excursion destination for young and old in the Paderborn district.
