Tierpark Irgenöd

In Ortenburg in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau, around 20 kilometres west of the district town of Passau, you will find Irgenöd Zoo. What began in 1975 as a pure bird park has changed over the years and led to the former bird park being renamed Irgenöd Zoo in 2023. Today, around 100 bird species and 14 mammal species live on the six-hectare site. Of course, you will also find various play facilities for younger visitors as well as a range of food and drinks. Irgenöd Zoo is open seasonally from March to the beginning of November, inviting visitors to see the various birds and mammals.
