Tierpark Gettorf

Gettorf is located halfway between Kiel and Eckernförde, less than 10 kilometres from the Baltic Sea beach. The Gettorf Zoo emerged from a private hobby in 1968. Through extensions, the small zoo in Schleswig-Holstein has grown to a total area of 4ha. In addition to different types of primates, which are bred here in this zoo, there are animals from the most diverse regions of the world. You will find kangaroos, flamingos and alpacas here. Walk-through aviaries and bird meadows together with educational facilities round off the offer.
