Tierpark Fauna

In Solingen in North Rhine-Westphalia, more precisely in the district of Gräfrath, around eighteen kilometres from Wuppertal and around thirty kilometres from the state capital Düsseldorf, the Fauna Zoo has been open all year round for over ninety years. There are around 400 animals of up to thirty species, both native and exotic, to discover on the three-hectare site. Parrots, lizards, monitor lizards, alpacas, llamas, porcupines, various types of turtles, tayras, spiders and different songbirds await you at Fauna Zoo. Of course, many of the animals can also be fed with the food available in the park. Around 100,000 visitors, young and old, visit Fauna Zoo every year.
