About the Park
Beverstedt is a small municipality with about 15,000 inhabitants and is located in Niedersachsen, about 25 kilometres south-east of Bremerhaven. There, in the district of Heyenhöfen, is the small CUX-ART animal park. Starting with a handful of blue peacocks that had a keen interest in solar panels, a privately run zoo gradually grew up on a sufficiently large area with different soil conditions. In recent years, the animal population has grown to include a number of exotic animals, which are provided with enclosures with opportunities for retreat and also for sunbathing.
