Tiergarten Nürnberg

The Nuremberg Zoo was opened on the outskirts of the city in 1912 on an area of 65 hectares. There are many endangered species among the 300 animal species. In extensive forest parks, visitors can see animals such as ibex or Prince Alfred deer, and in special animal houses such as the manatee house, visitors can find manatees.
