Tiergarten Kleve

Kleve Zoo is located in Kleve, North Rhine-Westphalia, on the Lower Rhine on the border between Germany and the Netherlands and around 75 kilometres north-west of Duisburg. Opened in 1959 and covering an area of around six hectares, Kleve Zoo is home to around 350 animals from around 50 species. One of the zoo's specialities is old domestic animal breeds and endangered wild animals. For example, the zoo is home to two-coloured tamarins, armadillos, maras and small pandas. Visitors can feed the park's various animals with the food available at the zoo and get up close and personal with them. For younger guests, Kleve Zoo also has the Playmore Fantasy Adventure Playground, where young visitors can have lots of fun. Of course, food and drinks are also available for guests. Kleve Zoo is open all year round, making it an animal-themed excursion destination for young and old alike.
