Tengen - Schätzele-Markt

With over 100,000 visitors, the Schätzele market is the largest folk festival in the region and one of the most important in South Baden. The town of Tengen has been celebrating the market on the last weekend in October for over 725 years.

The Schätzele market is characterised by its diversity:

The large marquee with music and catering attracts all guests to linger in a cosy atmosphere. If you want something a little more fast-paced, you are better off next door with the fairground rides.

At the trade and business exhibition, you can get an idea of what the trade has to offer. The city's tourism stand with extensive information on the tourist offer can also be found here.

If you want to do some shopping or eat something, you should take a stroll through the Krämermarkt on Saturday and Sunday (from 9.00 a.m.). There is not only a wide selection of food, but also over 100 traders with a diverse range of goods.

In front of the town hall, festival-goers can take a look at the latest models of almost all brands in the car exhibition.

Finally, the highlight of the Schätzele market awaits on Saturday afternoon: the SME rally organised jointly with the Federation of Self-Employed and the Trade Association. Every year, high-calibre speakers from politics, business and society appear there.

Central car park at the Volksfestplatz. The B 314 will be closed at this point. You can also park your car at the Randenhalle (Schulstraße 13). Numerous other car parks are designated on the Wannenberg, in the Kalkgrube and on neighbouring meadows and fields. From the sawmill in the direction of Blumenfeld, there are also tarmac access roads to the market site and the fairground. There are four car parks for people with disabilities in the area of the ‘Alte Grundschule’ (Ludwig-Gerer-Straße) and on the B 314. You will need a blue parking permit to use these.
