About the Park
The Spremberger Heimatfest in August, with over 30,000 visitors every year, has a high status in the south of Brandenburg among the folk festivals in the region and beyond. The unique island and valley location of the town is what makes Spremberg/Grodk so special. Different landscapes can be found in a relatively small area.
The event area extends from the historic town centre with the Bullwinkel, Lange Straße, the market square, the Kleiner Markt and the adjacent streets and squares to the large festival meadow with the open-air stage and the swan pond with the castle, which is over 700 years old.
In addition to a fairground, there are various stage locations, a children's area and a large fireworks display at the swan pond, as well as merchant and catering areas.
