About the Park
In Bad Doberan in Mecklenburg, twenty kilometres from Rostock, you will find the Bad Doberan summer toboggan run, which opened on 18 August 2013. The 721-metre-long track takes you through a ten-metre-high roundabout, seven steep curves and a bridge. Speed freaks can ride through the track at speeds of up to 40 km/h. Of course, you can also get a souvenir photo of your ride. One of the highlights on the summer toboggan run is the dark toboggan runs that take place in October as part of the Bad Doberan Culture Night. Children from the age of 3 are allowed to take a seat on one of the two-seater toboggans together with a parent.
