Schwabach - Herbstkirchweih

The Schwabach Autumn Fair is a traditional folk festival that takes place every year in the heart of Schwabach. It stretches across Königsplatz, Martin-Luther-Platz and the adjacent streets and is known for its mix of modern fairground attractions and traditional market activities.

The festival offers a wide range of rides for all ages, including classic carousels, bumper cars and a Ferris wheel that offers a view over the city. A fairground market with numerous traders offers a wide selection of household goods and decorations. Countless food stalls provide refreshments with typical fairground specialities such as roasted almonds, candy floss and hearty dishes.

A traditional highlight is the fairground parade, which heralds the opening, and the erection of the fairground tree. Another highlight is the family day with discounted prices and special offers.
