Rüsselsheim - Mainfest

One of the most beautiful spring festivals along the banks of the Main takes place in Rüsselsheim every year. Once again this year, you can expect a great programme with something for all ages.

A wide range of food and drink is on offer to cater for all tastes. A total of 42 rides and games will provide fun and excitement over five days. The culinary programme also offers plenty of variety.

A visit with children is particularly worthwhile on Friday. There will be reduced prices as part of the family day. Sunday begins at 11:00 a.m. with a church service by the showmen at the bumper cars. The Mainfest stands open at 12:00 noon. The ‘MAIN’ Sunday open for business in the city centre with a supporting programme starts at 13:00. On the market square, for example, there will once again be a joint city and state police stand where citizens can find out about current topics and projects.

The culinary offerings (20 in total) at the Mainfest will once again offer plenty of variety this year. For the ‘sweet-toothed’ there will be sugar and almond trolleys with the classic range of confectionery. There will also be specialities such as churros, nuts & almonds, soft ice cream, chocolate-coated fruit skewers, crepes and waffles.

The ‘savoury’ are catered for at three snack bars with their range of various classic meat and sausage specialities. Alternatively, pizza, langos and crisp skewers are on offer. New this year are flatbreads with various toppings.

Various bars and pubs invite you to quench your thirst. As expected, in addition to non-alcoholic drinks, you can also get the classic alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine and cocktails.
