About the Park
In Malchow, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in the district of Mecklenburg Lake District, you will find the Malchow Toboggan Run & Monkey Forest, which opened in 2000. In addition to the 800-metre-long summer toboggan run, which leads through seven steep curves, the monkey forest on an area of 3.5 hectares invites you to observe the Barbary macaques living there at close quarters. Open from the beginning of April to the end of October, the toboggan run & monkey forest Malchow is a worthwhile and interesting destination in the south of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
