Did you know that Oberwiesenthal in the Ore Mountains is home to Saxony's first summer toboggan run? In 1992, the Oberwiesenthal toboggan run was put into operation with a length of 540 m, 9 steep and one S-curve. You can control the speed at which you want to experience the track yourself by using the lever on the toboggan. The family-friendly prices and the fact that small children from the age of 4 are allowed to use the toboggan run when accompanied by an adult make the Oberwiesenthal toboggan run a good destination for an excursion.
