The “rheinwelle” sauna and bathing world is located in Gau-Algesheim in Rhineland-Palatinate, approx. 10 km east of Bingen and approx. 20 km west of the Rhineland-Palatinate state capital Mainz. The building, which is modeled on the course of the Rhine, has a 25-meter sports pool with 1-meter and 3-meter diving towers, a learning and adventure pool, a current channel, a wave ball, water slides, a climbing fish and a climbing wall. Of course, there is also a paddling pool, a children's slide and much more for young bathers. Those who prefer to relax can do so in the whirlpool, in the outdoor brine pool, which is open all year round, or in the sauna world with seven different types of sauna. The wine cellar sauna in the rheinwelle in Gau-Algesheim is unique. Here, a brick-built barrel vault with original wine barrels has been created, offering an experience similar to that of a winegrower. The offer is rounded off by a restaurant with sauna bar and swimming pool restaurant, which is also open to non-pool visitors.
