Rheda-Wiedenbrück - Andreasmarkt

It's St Andrew's market. The smell of almonds and candy floss wafts through the centre of Rheda again in November. Afterwards, many showmen have to set up their shops in the squares of the Christmas markets. But before that, the Andreasmarkt will offer visitors everything that makes a great funfair over the three days. For young and old, there will be the popular mix of carousels, food, games and drinks stalls, which will transform the centre of Rheda into a colourful funfair for three days. Everyone is cordially invited to enjoy a few cheerful days at the fair.

The Andreasmarkt is a funfair with a long tradition. There are not many fairground events this late in the year that delight visitors with the well-known and much-loved fairground attractions. In November, it is often the case that the weather no longer invites you to spend a long time outdoors. Not so in Rheda. Every year, visitors from near and far make their way to the town centre. The colourfully illuminated shops of the showmen give the town centre a cosy atmosphere. Add to this the smell of almonds, popcorn and, yes, the first mulled wine. Everyone is cordially invited to enjoy a few cheerful days at the funfair and escape from everyday life for a few hours.
