Reptilium Terrarien und Wüstenzoo Landau

Germany's largest reptile zoo has been in Landau in der Pfalz since 2004. Around 125 animal species live on 3,400 square meters and are provided with appropriate enclosures. The reptile zoo is divided into several areas such as a baby station where young animals are raised or even hatched. In the night house there are animals that are nocturnal and can therefore only be viewed under special conditions, and in the terrarium hall there are animals from the tropical rainforest or the desert. Under the motto "experience animals up close" there is the special feature that selected animals may be touched.
