Rendsburg - Rendsburger Herbst

The Rendsburg Autumn Festival is the largest city festival in Schleswig-Holstein and a highlight in the city's annual calendar of events. It traditionally takes place on the last weekend in August.

The festival transforms the entire city centre of Rendsburg into one big open-air party zone. It is known for its lively mix of music, culture, culinary experiences and a varied programme for the whole family.

Venues: The event takes place across several locations in the city, such as Obereiderhafen, Schiffbrückenplatz and Altstädter Markt, where various stages, stands and attractions are set up.

Programme:

- Live music: Numerous bands and DJs perform on stages in the city centre, creating a party atmosphere until late in the evening. The music programme ranges from rock and pop to Schlager.

- Fair and family programme: A fair with rides and stalls provides entertainment on Paradeplatz. During the day, there is a colourful programme with hands-on activities and games, which is particularly aimed at families.

- Culinary offerings: A wide range of food stalls and beer gardens invite you to linger and enjoy yourself.

Special highlights:

- Duck race: A popular event on Sunday is the traditional duck race on the Obereider.

- Sunday shopping: Rendsburg Autumn ends on Sunday with Sunday shopping, when the shops in the city centre invite you to stroll around.

Rendsburg Autumn is a festival that strengthens the community and attracts visitors from all over the region to the town on the Kiel Canal.
