Prenzlau - Weihnachtsmarkt

The Prenzau Christmas market traditionally takes place in the heart of the district town of Prenzlau in the Uckermark (Brandenburg) and transforms the historic market square around the town hall into a festive meeting place during Advent. In contrast to the largest cities, the Prenzau market offers a particularly cosy and familiar atmosphere that attracts visitors from across the region.

The centre of the market is formed by a festively lit, tall Christmas tree, around which decorated wooden huts are grouped. These stalls offer a mixture of traditional handicrafts and regional products, often including handicrafts, ceramics, wooden toys and Christmas decorations that reflect the local craftsmanship of the Uckermark region.
