Pforzheim-Brötzingen - Martinimarkt

Over the years, the Martinimarkt in Pforzheim-Brötzingen has developed from an originally ambitious district festival into a firmly established and regionally popular folk festival, which is perceived by many as Pforzheim's ‘second fair’. The event traditionally takes place in November around St. Martin's Day and transforms the Brötzingen pedestrian zone, the museum square and the post office car park into a lively market bustling with activity for several days. The market is characterised by a successful mix of classic fairground atmosphere and an extensive entertainment programme. Visitors can look forward to numerous showmen's attractions, which, in addition to the obligatory food stalls, also offer various rides for young and old, attracting visitors from across the region. An attractive stage programme in the pedestrian zone, ranging from live bands to local performances, ensures the right festive atmosphere. A special feature of the Brötzingen Martinimarkt is its duration, as it is often extended beyond the weekend until Monday. This last day is traditionally dedicated to family day, when businesses often offer discounted prices, making the market particularly attractive for families.
