Oberhausen - Weihnachtsmarkt im Centro Westfield

With almost 140 lovingly designed huts, the Christmas magic at Westfield Centro Oberhausen is one of the largest and most visited Christmas markets in the Ruhr area. It is characterised by its enormous size and its division into three magical themed worlds that stretch along the entire promenade of the shopping centre. In Santa's Village, visitors are immersed in a classic, festive style, meet Santa Claus in his parlour and enjoy a traditional atmosphere. The elf market is specially designed for families and offers a fairytale ambience with elf figures, a talking fairytale tree and an elf train. This contrasts with the rustic mountain Christmas market, which is all about alpine hut cosiness and après-ski flair, where alpine specialities such as Kasnocken and Kaiserschmarrn are served in the original FlachauAlm. The central highlight is a spectacular Ferris wheel towering over the promenade, offering a sweeping view over the sea of lights of the Christmas world, complemented by a toboggan run at the mountain Christmas market that promises tobogganing fun. The direct connection to the covered Westfield Centro also allows visitors to enjoy the unique combination of a stroll through the Christmas market and relaxed Christmas shopping, even in bad weather.
