About the Park
In 1826, the citizens of Nuremberg launched the Volksfest to celebrate King Ludwig I’s birthday and name day.
With around 2 million visitors each year, it is now one of the largest Volksfests in Germany and was awarded the title of “the most beautiful city festival” in 2013. At the Dutzendteich, fairground operators offer an impressive selection of rides for all ages across approximately 100,000 square meters: from thrilling roller coasters and fast-paced carousels to nostalgic rides, there’s an adrenaline rush for everyone. Enjoy the diverse culinary highlights, from hearty delicacies to sweet treats that will delight your palate.
An extensive program of events, featuring family days, marching bands, and an impressive fireworks display, provides additional entertainment.
