About the Park
The Nordhorn May Fair always takes place around the second Sunday in May. It begins on Friday and ends on Monday. If the preceding Thursday is a public holiday, the fair is extended by this day. The fair is open daily from 2 pm until at least 10 pm. The official opening takes place on the first day of the fair at 3 pm. The fair ends on Monday evening with the big closing fireworks display at 10 pm. The venue is Neumarkt, a paved public car park directly adjacent to the city centre and Lake Vechtesee.
