About the Park
In 1937 the NaturZoo was opened in Rheine in the Münsterland region. Around 100 animal species live on an area of 13 hectares. The first accessible monkey forest was opened here as the first zoo in Germany. You will also find large accessible aviaries and penguins in the immediate vicinity.
