About the Park
Mühldorf's traditional folk festival is the highlight of the town's festival calendar and, with over 200,000 visitors, is one of the largest of its kind in south-east . In 1865, almost 160 years ago, the people of Mühldorf organised their first folk festival. Even today, this successful blend of tradition and modernity attracts people from all over the region - and brings together all social classes and age groups. In addition to three large tents, there are various shooting, games and throwing booths as well as fairground rides for visitors of all ages. The traditional musical fireworks display, which heralds the end of the eleven-day Mühldorf traditional folk festival, will once again amaze thousands of Mühldorf residents and visitors.
