About the Park
In Hirschau in the Upper Palatinate district of Amberg-Sulzbach, around 80 kilometres east of Nuremberg, you will find the amusement park. On this 120 metre high slag heap, one of the highest sand mountains in Europe, which consists of 32 million tonnes of dazzling white quartz sand, you will find a wide range of outdoor activities such as the Monte 3D archery course, the Monte dune pool, Monte Golf, the Monte high ropes course or why not go on a discovery tour with the Segways from Monte Seg. Perhaps the highlight for many, however, is the Monte Coaster, an 800 metre long mountain coaster from Josef Wiegand GmbH & Co KG.
