About the Park
The second largest folk festival, the Michelstadt Bee Market, starts every year in the week of Whitsun. The first "Pitschefescht", as it is colloquially known, took place in 1955 and has grown considerably since then. In addition to the many showmen, fairground rides and restaurants, there is also a large supporting programme in Michelstadt. This includes fireworks on the second Friday, a cycle race, a town run, a bee auction and much more. Come and see for yourself.
