About the Park
The carnival fair always attracts visitors around Rose Monday during the street carnival with various rides. Freshly roasted almonds, confectionery and savoury dishes are also on offer to refresh the carnival revellers.
The fair begins at the market, continues across Liebfrauenplatz and extends to Fischtorplatz on the Rhine. The carnival fair in Mainz begins on Weiberfastnacht (Thursday) and ends on Fastnacht (Tuesday).
